MARINE HEAD MECHANICAL/ELECTRICAL ENGINEER (14/01/2022) Jeddah, Saudi Arabia

The Marine Head Mechanical/Electrical Engineer manages and coordinates all engineering and technical matters including design, modification, technical guidance and planning related to SRF works through subordinate engineers support analyses of specific technical problems and recommends solutions and alternatives.
He also manages the SRF data library including drawing requirements and reproduction of technical documents and drawings
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervises, coordinates and manages engineering division personnel in providing technical guidance, assistance in the planning, modification and maintenance of ship superstructure, outfitting of ship and shore electrical systems, mechanical and machinery equipment,
- Performs technical, design and engineering services in the general field of HMES systems,
- Establishes and coordinates liaisons between production shops and Engineering for fast response to waterfront technical problems,
- Participates in developing technical recommendations for proposed alterations, modifications and field changes to HMES systems,
- Participates to prepare RAV, IMA, ROH,
- Reviews and maintains Maintenance Requirement Cards for HMES systems and makes recommendations for necessary changes,
- Ensures that current configuration of HMES systems is maintained in accordance with established policy,
- Assists and participates in the evaluation of work report and the preparation of other reports involving HMES systems. Participates in inspections and field tests requested by RSNF / SRF,
- Manages the SRF data library,
- Transfers his knowledge of position related skills, duties and responsibilities to RSNF maintenance technicians through On Job Training,
- Provides technical expertise to RSNF / SRF as requested
