Job Title: Data Cabling Engineer
Location: Manchester
Rate: £165 p/day

Are you experienced with network equipment and cabinet work? We are looking for a Data Cabling Engineer to assist with repatching and equipment swaps in comms rooms, including access point installations. This is a hands-on role requiring technical competence and efficiency.

Description of Contract/Programme of Works:

• Repatching equipment, switches, and cabinets
• Swapping active equipment into comms rooms
• Assisting with wireless access point (AP) installations

Experience Required:

• Previous experience in data cabling or structured cabling environments
• Familiarity with comms rooms and network hardware

Required Documentation/Certifications/Tooling:

• ECS/CSCS card – essential
• Valid photo ID or passport – must be presented
• Contractors must provide standard hand tools and a battery drill
• Full PPE is required (no hard hat needed for this role)
