MediRec is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to support a residential aged care facility with regular night duty shifts on a temporary and casual basis. You will join an established team to deliver high quality care, maintain resident safety overnight, and provide leadership and support to care staff. Alongside casual and temp work, MediRec also offers 4–12 week travel nursing contracts across Australia, giving you the option to mix local shifts with contract work when it suits you.

Between these night shifts, we can also offer additional casual and agency work to help you top up hours and income, with competitive agency rates and weekly pay. This role is ideal if you value flexibility, like working nights, and want to pick up extra shifts without long‑term lock‑in.

Duties

• Provide high quality overnight clinical care in a residential aged care setting

• Lead and support care staff throughout the night

• Complete timely and accurate documentation and handover

• Support safe medication administration and respond to any clinical changes

• Help maintain a calm, safe, and professional environment for residents

Skills and experience

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse

• Full working rights in Australia

• Recent aged care experience (minimum 3–6 months in Australia)

• Up‑to‑date Flu and COVID vaccinations

• Confident working night duty and able to work autonomously
