MediRec is seeking experienced Assistants in Nursing (AINs) and Registered Nurses (RNs) to support residential aged care facilities on a temporary and casual basis.

You'll join established care teams delivering high-quality resident care, maintaining safety, and supporting the day-to-day operation of the facility.

Alongside casual and temp work, MediRec also offers 4-12 week travel contracts across Australia, giving you the flexibility to combine local shifts with contract opportunities when it suits your lifestyle.

Duties

• Provide high-quality care and support to aged care residents
• Assist residents with activities of daily living and personal care
• Monitor resident wellbeing and report changes to the clinical team
• Complete accurate documentation and handovers
• Work collaboratively with nurses, carers, and facility staff
• Help maintain a safe, respectful, and professional environment

Skills and Experience

• Current AHPRA registration (for Registered Nurses) or Certificate III/IV in Individual Support, Aged Care, or equivalent (for AINs)
• Full working rights in Australia
• Recent aged care experience (minimum 3-6 months in Australia)
• Up-to-date Flu and COVID vaccinations
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Reliable and professional approach to care
