About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic and skilled Early Years Practitioner to join our friendly 60‑place nursery in Tower Hamlets. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate early years professional who is committed to delivering high‑quality care, supporting children’s learning and development, and creating a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment.
As an Early Years Practitioner, you will play a key role in supporting children’s daily routines, planning engaging activities, building strong relationships with families, and ensuring full compliance with EYFS and safeguarding requirements.
Key Duties and Responsibilities

Deliver high‑quality care — Provide warm, responsive and consistent care that supports children’s wellbeing and development.

Plan and deliver activities — Contribute to planning, preparing and leading stimulating, age‑appropriate learning experiences.

Support children’s development — Observe, assess and record children’s progress in line with the EYFS framework.

Safeguarding & compliance — Follow all safeguarding, health and safety and Ofsted requirements to maintain a safe environment.

Build positive relationships — Work closely with parents, carers and colleagues to support each child’s individual needs.

Room organisation — Help maintain an organised, inclusive and engaging learning environment.

Team collaboration — Work effectively with the nursery team, contributing to a supportive and professional culture.

Record keeping — Maintain accurate observations, reports and documentation in line with statutory requirements.
About You

Level 3 childcare qualification (or above).

Experience working in an early years setting.

Strong understanding of the EYFS, safeguarding and child development.

Warm, caring and professional approach with children and families.

Good communication, teamwork and organisational skills.

Passionate about providing high‑quality early years education.
