Start your career in a great learning environment. At the end of your apprenticeship you will have a Certificate III in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning.


What does the Apprenticeship Program involve?

Working in a fantastic learning environment, you will embark on your 4-year apprenticeship with our clients Equipment and Services area. As an apprentice you will get the opportunity to work across several of our areas across workshop and out in the field, partnering with a mentor who will support and guide you. The first 3 years will involve 1 day a week of TAFE for the theoretical education for your certification, with the 4th year focused on gaining further on the job training and final sign off.

Successful applicants will have

  • A proactive mindset and a “get up and go” attitude with eagerness to learn
  • Able to attend classroom training 1 day a week
  • Self-motivated to complete assignment work
  • Loves to be hands on
  • Mathematical aptitude
  • Drivers license (preferred)
  • Completed Year 12 or equivalent
  • Pre-apprenticeship welcome to apply
  • Must be over 18 to apply due to working with alcohol

Job duties include but are not limited to

  • Listen and learn from any mentors providing on the job training
  • Maintain any equipment to the highest standards
  • To maintain personal hand tools to the highest standards
  • To repair equipment and return it to a field ready condition
  • Ensure order numbers are completed in full for each item repaired or refurbished
  • Ensure all equipment serviced or repaired, meets the standards detailed in Service Bulletins
  • Ensure all work is performed in accordance with company standards policies and procedures
  • To communicate the completion of jobs to the Operations Team Leader or their appointed supervisor on a timely basis
  • To communicate to the Operations Team Leader, the rescheduling of jobs that require further attention
  • To report to the Operations Team Leader any sub-standard conditions that lower efficiencies, degrade product quality, effect safety or cause equipment failure
  • To maintain the work area in a clean and tidy condition as per company OH&S standards
  • Ensure the workplace is monitored for hazards and any hazards are reported immediately to the Operations Team Leader
  • Contribute to continuous improvements towards company vision, values and business objectives
