My client is an aircraft leasing company which is looking for a VP Powerplant to join their team.
Responsibilities:
- Manage aircraft engine technical databases
- Carry out audits on engine records, documents and packages
- Contribute to fleet management trends, costs and technical issues
- Manage lease redeliveries and deliveries
- Update group teams on issues and potential solutions
- Negotiate the purchases of engines and parts
- Attend industry conferences
- Stay up to date with relevant engine programs
Requirements
- Commercial aviation leasing experience (OEM, lessor, MRO, Airline or relevant)
- University Engineering Degree qualification
- 5-10 years in the aviation industry
- Engine/Powerplant experience
- Strong background in engine records and technical documentation.
