Litigation Executive / Associate – Liability Defence

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Litigation Executive or Associate to join a leading defendant personal injury team in Birmingham.

This role will involve handling a varied caseload of complex employers’ liability and public liability claims, including both pre-litigation and litigated matters. The work will cover a range of sectors such as construction, manufacturing, leisure and retail, and will include high value and multi-track cases, as well as multi-defendant and Part 20 claims.

You will work closely with highly regarded partners and experts in the field, gaining exposure to intellectually challenging and high-profile matters. The role requires a proactive and detail-driven individual who is confident managing multiple cases while maintaining strong client relationships.

The successful candidate will be a UK qualified Solicitor or CILEX (or equivalent experience) with around 2–5 years’ experience in defendant personal injury litigation. Experience assisting on complex multi-track matters and a basic understanding of policy coverage are important.

Strong analytical skills, commercial awareness and a practical approach to problem solving are essential. You should be comfortable collaborating within a team while also managing your own workload effectively.
