Locum Conveyancing Solicitor/Legal Executive
Location: South Hampshire (office‑based)
Start: Early May 2026
Duration: 2-3 months (approx.)
Hours: Ideally 5 days per week (flex considered)
We are seeking an experienced Locum Conveyancer to provide office‑based cover while permanent recruitment is underway. This is a great opportunity to join a friendly, well‑established firm supporting a loyal local client base.
The role
You will handle a varied residential conveyancing caseload, including:
- Standard residential sales and purchases for local clients
- Probate-related property sales generated by the private client team
- Occasional light commercial matters (minimal)
- Working with the firm’s own precedents (no case management system)
What we're looking for
- A qualified Solicitor, Licenced Conveyancer, or Conveyancing Executive
- Strong residential conveyancing experience
- Confident working independently in an office-based environment
- Availability from early May
