An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Contract & Commercial Litigation Solicitor or FCILEx to join a busy Civil Litigation team on a locum basis.

This role is available on an immediate-start basis and will initially run for 2–3 months. The position falls inside IR35 and offers the flexibility of fully remote working for the right candidate.

The successful candidate will manage a caseload of contractual and commercial disputes, including matters relating to commercial contracts, consumer contracts, professional negligence, construction disputes and misrepresentation claims. The caseload will comprise both claimant and defendant matters and will include fast track, intermediate track and multi-track litigation.

As this is a senior-level assignment, candidates should be comfortable handling matters independently from instruction through to conclusion. Previous experience supervising or mentoring junior team members is also highly desirable.

Applicants should have a strong background in commercial and civil litigation, excellent client-handling skills and the ability to work effectively within a busy, deadline-driven environment.
