An established and busy law firm is seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join its growing property team. This is an excellent opportunity for a conveyancing professional who enjoys running their own caseload, working independently, and being part of a supportive team environment.

The role:

You will join a residential conveyancing department currently comprising experienced conveyancers and dedicated administrative support. Due to an upcoming departure within the team, we are looking for a new conveyancer to take over and manage an existing caseload.

The successful candidate will handle a broad range of residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion, ensuring clients receive a high standard of service throughout the transaction process.

Key responsibilities:

  • Managing a full residential conveyancing caseload independently.
  • Handling sales, purchases, transfers of equity, remortgages and other residential property transactions.
  • Providing clear and practical advice to clients throughout the conveyancing process.
  • Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders and other solicitors.
  • Assisting with holiday cover for colleagues and supporting team-wide workload management where required.

About you:

  • Demonstrable experience handling residential conveyancing matters with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to manage your own caseload from start to finish.
  • Strong organisational and client care skills.
  • A team player who can provide support and file cover for colleagues when required.
  • Qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, Legal Executive or experienced non-qualified Conveyancer considered.

What's on offer:

  • Existing caseload available.
  • Supportive and collaborative team environment.
  • Competitive salary, dependent on qualifications and experience.
  • Long-term career opportunity within a well-established firm.

Experience in residential conveyancing is considered more important than formal qualifications, and applications are welcomed from candidates with a proven track record of successfully managing conveyancing transactions.
