In-House Property Lawyer

Salary: Up to £100,000

Contract: 3‑month temp (potential to go permanent)

Hours: Mon-Fri, 9am-6:30pm

Location: Office‑based only (Battersea)

Start: ASAP

We are recruiting on behalf of an in‑house client seeking an experienced Conveyancing Lawyer to join their team on a temporary basis. This role is fully office‑based and requires someone who can manage a busy caseload with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities: 

• Handling residential and commercial property transactions
• Title checks, searches, and due diligence
• Drafting and negotiating contracts, leases, and related documents
• Maintaining accurate case files and ensuring compliance
• Supporting partners and fee earners with legal and administrative tasks
• Managing post‑completion work including registrations and SDLT

Requirements: 

• 5+ years PQE in property law
• UK‑qualified
• Able to commute to Battersea daily
• Experience with high‑volume caseloads
• Strong drafting, communication, and client‑facing skills
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail
• Confident working independently in a fast‑paced environment
