Driver – Compound / Ferrying Operative

South Killingholme | £12.71–£14.97 per hour

GI Group UK is recruiting Drivers to support ferrying operations for a leading automotive logistics company based in South Killingholme.

Role Overview

• Location: South Killingholme
• Pay: £12.71 – £14.97 per hour (shift dependent)
• Shifts: 7am–4pm, 12pm–9pm and 9pm–6am on a rotational basis, according to site needs and role
• Days: Monday to Saturday – weekend availability is essential
• Type: Ongoing assignments, subject to site volumes

Key Responsibilities

• Safely move and relocate vehicles around and between compounds on the client’s site
• Follow instructions from team leaders to ensure vehicles are parked correctly
• Undertake regular walking around the compound as part of daily duties
• Carry out basic vehicle checks and promptly report any damage or issues

Requirements

• Full UK driving licence (Category B)
• Licence held for a minimum of 2 years
• Maximum of 3 penalty points (subject to endorsement codes)
• Aged 22 or over (for insurance purposes)
• Confident driving a range of vehicles (electric, manual and automatic)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Reliable, flexible and able to work rotating shifts
• Own transport due to the site’s remote location
