Discharge Driver – Grimsby

GI Group are recruiting Discharge Drivers for our client in Grimsby. You’ll be responsible for moving brand-new vehicles from vessels to the on-site compound, ensuring every vehicle is handled safely and with care. You must be confident driving manual and automatic vehicles (with electric vehicles also on site).

Location: Grimsby (on-site)

Pay rate: £12.71 – £14.97 per hour (depending on shift)

Shifts: Monday to Sunday – various shift patterns available

Training: 2 paid trainee shifts provided to learn the role and build confidence

Vehicles: Manual, Automatic and Electric

Key Responsibilities

• Drive new vehicles from vessels to the on-site compound
• Move vehicles safely within the compound as required
• Maintain high standards of care and report any damage/issues immediately

Requirements

• Full UK driving licence (held for at least 2 years)
• Aged 22+ (insurance purposes)
• Driving licence address must match your current home address
• 3–6 points may be accepted depending on the endorsement code
• Reliable, punctual and hard-working
