Driver – Vehicle Ferrying | Stallingborough | £12.91–£25.82 per hour (shift dependent)

GI Group UK is recruiting Drivers to support vehicle ferrying operations for a leading automotive logistics client based in Stallingborough.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for moving vehicles safely and efficiently around the client’s site, including transfers between compounds. This is an ongoing assignment, with work volumes dependent on site requirements.

Location: Stallingborough

Pay Rate: £12.91 to £25.82 per hour (shift dependent)

Shifts: 08:00–20:00 (12-hour shifts)

Days: 7-day site operation (flexibility required)

Contract Type: Ongoing assignments based on site volume

Key Responsibilities

• Ferry vehicles around the compound and between on-site compounds
• Drive a range of vehicles including electric, manual, and automatic
• Use handheld terminal scanners (full training provided on day one)
• Inspect vehicles and report any damage immediately

What You’ll Need

• Full UK driving licence (Category B)
• Licence held for at least 24 months
• Maximum 3 points (subject to endorsement code)
• Age 22+ (insurance requirement)
• Confident driving a variety of vehicle types (EV/manual/automatic)
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
• Reliable, flexible approach to shifts
• Own transport required due to the site’s remote location
