Driver – Ferrying Operative | South Killingholme | £12.71–£13.46 per hour

GI Group are recruiting Drivers to support ferrying operations for a leading automotive logistics company based in South Killingholme.

Role Overview

• Location: South Killingholme
• Pay: £12.71–£13.46 per hour (shift dependent)
• Shifts: 7am–4pm, 12pm–9pm and 9pm–6am on rotation (subject to site needs and role)
• Days: Monday to Saturday – weekend availability is essential
• Type: Ongoing assignments, dependent on site volume

Key Responsibilities

• Safely move and relocate vehicles around the compound and between compounds on site
• Follow instructions from team leaders to ensure vehicles are parked correctly
• Carry out basic vehicle checks and report any defects or issues
• Work on foot around the compound – this role involves regular walking

Requirements

• Full UK driving licence (Category B)
• Licence held for a minimum of 24 months
• Maximum of 3 points on licence (subject to endorsement codes)
• Minimum age 22 (insurance requirement)
• Confident driving a range of vehicles (electric, manual and automatic)
• Strong attention to detail and safety focused
• Reliable, flexible and able to work the full shift pattern
• Own transport due to the remote location
