A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Quality Engineer to join a UK known manufacturer in the Hereford Area!

With no day ever being the same the Senior Quality Engineer role offers genuine long-term progression and career development within a first-class organisation.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Supervising a team of 5 quality individuals – appraisals, 1to1s, disciplinaries
• Supporting New Product Introduction identifying suitability of products against customer specification
• Introduction and management of 5S in the main areas of the business
• Building and managing customer relationships as well as relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Participating in management meetings and ensuring KPI targets and CI goals are met on a daily, weekly and monthly basis

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• Experience working in a manufacturing environment
• ISO accreditation and QMS management experience
• Understanding of six sigma tools to problem solve
• Experience completing internal audits in line with ISO9001 and ISO13485
• Supervisory experience – highly desirable
