Beacon Hill’s client, a privately held real estate development company, is seeking a Paralegal with strong experience in real estate development, construction contracts, and project documentation. This role supports a dynamic legal and project team managing mixed-use, multifamily, and commercial development projects throughout the Phoenix/Scottsdale area.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and manage architectural, consultant, and subcontractor agreements, including change orders, lien documentation, and related correspondence.
• Oversee contract and document control systems, ensuring accuracy, accessibility, and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Support the legal team with litigation preparation, discovery coordination, and case documentation related to construction and development matters.
• Conduct legal research on construction law, zoning, permitting, and real estate development regulations.
• Maintain organized file management systems for contracts, development projects, and legal matters.
• Collaborate with attorneys, project managers, and outside counsel to manage deadlines and streamline workflows.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of paralegal experience in a real estate development, construction, or architectural contracting environment (law firm or in-house).
• Familiarity with construction contracts, development documentation, and project-based legal processes.
• Exceptional organizational and communication skills; strong attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel; knowledge of SharePoint, AutoCAD, or Procore is a plus.
• Paralegal certificate preferred; bachelor’s degree a plus.

Compensation

• Pay Range: $38–$72/hour (equivalent to $80K–$150K annually, depending on experience)
