Beacon Hill's client, an Am Law 100 firm, is urgently seeking a California-licensed Litigation Attorney to assist with trial preparation for a commercial breach of contract case. This role will support the firm's Los Angeles litigation team, with a trial scheduled to begin the week of September 8th.

• Location: Ideally able to work on-site or hybrid in Los Angeles, CA 90017. However, due to the urgency, fully remote candidates based and licensed in California will also be considered.
• Start: ASAP (trial is scheduled to start on 9/8)
• Duration: a couple of months (Concurrent employment not permitted)
• Hours: 40 hours per week

Qualifications:

• Active California bar license in good standing
• Defense litigation experience required, with a strong preference for candidates with a commercial litigation background
• Prior trial experience or experience in trial preparation

Responsibilities:

• Will primarily support pre-trial preparation, including tasks such as drafting or responding to briefs and motions, assisting with witness preparation, and handling other backend litigation support leading up to trial.
