Beacon Hill's client, AmLaw 200 firm, is seeking a trademark paralegal to support a busy trademark desk supporting a Partner.

• Location: Palo Alto, CA 94301 – Hybrid: 4 days onsite/1 day remote (possible flexibility to 3 days onsite/2 days remote)
  • Parking provided (in-building); office is within walking distance to Caltrain
• Start: ASAP
• Duration: 10-12 weeks
• Hours: 35 hours per week (7 hours per day)
• Pay: $47-$59/hour, depending on experience

Trademark Scope & Core Responsibilities

• Manage trademark renewals, maintenance deadlines, and portfolio updates
• Prepare and file new trademark applications (approximately 50% U.S. and 50% international); coordinate with foreign associates
• Review and respond to office actions; provide ongoing client reporting
• Monitor online for potential trademark violations and flag issues
• Limited TTAB involvement (with most handled by legal admin)
• Support invoice processing and related legal administrative tasks
• Docketing Expectation
  • Not responsible for maintaining/entering the docket
  • Must be comfortable reading and interpreting docket reports and managing deadlines
