Salary: USD80 - USD90 per hour
Beacon Hill is partnering with a top Am Law firm on a time-sensitive search for an Asset & Corporate Finance Attorney.
 
This attorney will support the firm’s Asset & Corporate Finance practice group, which advises lenders, master servicers, and special servicers on financing transactions involving commercial mortgage-backed securities (CMBS).
Day-to-day work will include a range of CMBS loan servicing matters involving performing and non-performing loans, including:
  • Loan modifications  
  • Assumptions  
  • Equity transfers  
  • Consent requests  
  • Demand letters  
  • Pre-default work  
  • Related servicing and real estate finance matters
Ideal background:
  • 5+ years of financing transactions experience required
  • Real estate law and real estate finance experience strongly preferred  
  • CMBS loan servicing experience highly preferred  
  • Defeasance experience is a strong plus  
  • Professional maturity and ability to work well remotely  
  • Active bar license in good standing in the same jurisdiction where you reside (CA, DC, DE, FL, IL, MA, MO, NC, NJ, NY, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX, WA)
Details:
  • Location: Remote, but candidates must reside and be licensed in a state where the firm has an office: California, Delaware, District of Columbia, Florida, Illinois, Massachusetts, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, or Washington
    • Charlotte connection or willingness to visit the Charlotte office from time to time is a plus
  • Duration: Initial engagement estimated at 6 months, with potential for extension or conversion based on performance and business needs 
  • Concurrent employment: Not permitted
  • Hours: 40 hours per week
  • Pay rate: $80–$90/hour, depending on experience
