About the Role
As the Clinical Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring outstanding clinical outcomes for residents by providing high-level clinical oversight and leadership. You will lead the clinical governance framework, maintain compliance, and support a culture of continuous improvement. Acting as a mentor and role model, you will guide and develop the clinical and care teams to uphold best practices in aged care.

You will oversee the delivery of complex healthcare, palliative care, and dementia support, ensuring a holistic, person-centred approach that prioritizes residents' independence, dignity, and well-being.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage nursing and care teams to deliver high-quality clinical care.
- Drive clinical governance and ensure compliance with Aged Care Quality and Safety Standards.
- Conduct clinical audits, reviews, and training initiatives to improve care delivery.
- Engage and manage health practitioners, clinicians, and allied health services to support resident outcomes.
- Act as the primary point of escalation for employee, resident, and family concerns, providing expert clinical guidance.
- Ensure clinical documentation and reporting are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Implement and review clinical improvement projects to enhance service quality.
- Support pre-admission assessments for prospective residents.
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a clinical leadership role within aged care.
- Registered Nurse with AHPRA registration and expertise in clinical care systems.
- Proven experience in driving clinical improvement initiatives.
- Strong analytical skills for problem-solving, audit reviews, and quality management.
- Comprehensive understanding of Aged Care Quality and Safety Standards.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to inspire and develop teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, clinical management systems, and quality frameworks.
Desirable:
- Certification in Quality Auditing.
- Postgraduate qualification in a health-related discipline.
- Leadership or training qualifications.
