ABOUT THE COMPANY

TwoScots are partnering with a large Australian Group’s Private Family Office based in South Melbourne. The business is a real success story, a leader in their field and a household name amongst many Australians. As the Investment arm of the group grows, a Financial Accountant is needed to focus on Trust and Investment Accounting across its complex entities and structures.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

• Complex investment accounting across various trust and investment structures.
• Take ownership of month-end and quarter-end management reporting for several entities within the business
• Work directly with senior leadership and other internal stakeholders, presenting and providing insightful reporting and financial analysis
• Cash flow management, tracking and forecasting, as well as investment reconciliations and variance management.
• Support team members in tax compliance duties, including statutory reporting, Income Tax reconciliations.

SKILLS + EXPERIENCE.

• 3+ years’ experience in accounting, with preference for Investment Accounting experience
• CA/CPA qualified (or close to completion)
• Strong proficiency in reporting, cash flow management and statutory tax compliance
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience with Xero, highly skilled in Excel
