This permanent part-time position offers the chance to provide safe, effective, and evidence-based care in a 22-bed Neuro-Cardiothoracic ward. Our client is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join their Neuro-Cardiothoracic team in Hobart. This unit delivers specialised care for neurosurgical and cardiothoracic patients, providing a fast-paced yet supportive environment for nurses to thrive. Skills and Experience

  • Current Registered Nurse with AHPRA registration
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in neurosurgical and/or cardiothoracic nursing
  • Demonstrated experience in acute surgical/critical care hospital settings
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and teamwork abilities
  • Commitment to safe practice, infection control, and continuous improvement
  • Postgraduate qualification in critical care, neurosurgical, or cardiothoracic nursing – highly desirable
  • Experience mentoring or supporting junior staff
