Remedy (a division of Employbridge) is thrilled to have been selected to support a leader in sustainable packaging manufacturing as they embark on a critical search for a Maintenance Technician for their on-site operation in North East, PA. This Maintenance Tech will primarily be responsible for installation and repair of equipment in the plant and will perform preventative and reactive maintenance on all production equipment and building systems. Job Title: Maintenance Technician II
Job Type: Full-time/Direct Hire/On-Site/Non-Exempt
Hours: 12 hour overnight sifts, 7pm -7am, rotating days
Pay: Starts at $30.89/hour, depending upon prior experience, plenty of OT available, including built-in OT every other week!

As their Maintenance Technician, you will contribute in the following ways:

• Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities.
• Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
• Focus on producing quality product by monitoring quality levels and adjust the manufacturing processes to ensure product integrity.
• Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility’s equipment.
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during operation and perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
• Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.
• Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.
• Assist and train production employees in proper operation and maintenance of machinery.

We're actively searching for skilled Maintenance Techs with the following background profile:

• Associate Degree in Industrial Maintenance or similar field is preferred.
• 5+ years of Industrial Maintenance Technician experience is preferred.
• Ability to maintain reliable, dedicated, and punctual attendance.
• Computer usage and typing skills are essential.
