Site Manager (JN -082025-63305) Gainsborough, England

Salary: GBP40000 - GBP42000 per annum + travel/fuel expenses

We are seeking an Assistant Site Manager looking for the next step in their career into a full Site Manager position. The role is for a regional main contractor for new build housing projects, across Lincolnshire and surrounding areas. The role is to oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring timely delivery, quality workmanship, and full compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage labour, plant, materials, and subcontractors to meet project timelines.
  • Maintain high standards of quality control, housekeeping, and site safety.
  • Conduct site inductions, ensure RAMS compliance, and manage local authority inspections.
  • Support Contracts Manager with progress reporting, site documentation, and compliance certification.
  • Liaise with architects, engineers, and consultants to resolve on-site issues.
  • Monitor programme schedules, forecast resources, and manage site logistics.
  • Maintain secure and compliant working environments in line with CDM regulations.

 

Requirements:

  • Strong leadership and organisational skills.
  • Ability to interpret construction drawings and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Commitment to health & safety and quality assurance.
  • Design and build/new build housing experience.
  • SMSTS/SSSTS/First Aid.

 

Hours:

Monday–Thursday 7:30am–4:30pm, Friday 7:30am–3:30pm. Flexibility required.
