Interior Designer

Interior Designer (12355) Dallas, Texas

Salary: USD60000 - USD80000 per year

My client is urgently seeking to add an Interior Designer to their growing architecture team. Advance your career working for a progressive, extremely organized, and highly respected design firm. DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
  • Strong creative design and drawing skills, graphic and oral design proposal/presentation skills, capacity for conceptual design thinking, and 3D design/modeling ability.
  • Select and specify furniture, fixtures, and equipment, including detailed product descriptions, and provision of contract documentation to facilitate pricing, procurement, and installation of furniture.
  • Strong aptitude for creative millwork design and documentation.
  • Select color palettes, materials and finishes to appropriately convey the design concept,
    provide functionality, life-cycle performance considerations, and address environmental
    and safety concerns.
  • Prepare construction documents, consisting of plans, elevations, details, and
    specifications to illustrate power and communication locations, reflected ceiling plans
    and lighting designs, materials and finishes, millwork and furniture layouts.
  • Ability to field measure and document building conditions.
  • Have knowledge of the construction administration process.
  • Have the ability to work both independently and effectively in a cross-disciplinary team.
  • Have strong time management and task completion skills.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 3-5+ years of experience as an interior designer.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture or equivalent.
  • Fluency and confidence using Revit and 3D rendering (Enscape).
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Possess excellent written and communication skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • NCIDQ or equivalent accreditation.
  • Experience with commercial, retail, and institutional projects.
