Kingswood Group are proud to be working with a not for profit organisation based in London to source an experienced Operations Director, to start ASAP initially on a fixed term contract with potential to become permanent. This role will require experience in managing Finance functions previously and will also be have strategic leadership responsibilities for HR, Marketing, Facilities.

Experience working in the Charity sector is highly desirable.

Reporting to the Chief Executive, and as a member of the Executive Director Team the postholder will be responsible for the delivery of organisations vision, mission, values, strategic direction and delivery of the corporate business plan.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Chief Executive and the rest of the Executive Team in determining long-term financial and resource goals, developing strategies to achieve these goals and ensuring compliance with all statutory financial and other legally binding regulations and requirements.

The role will provide financial leadership to the organisation, supporting their strategic direction and contributing to the development of their long-term strategy, ensuring financial sustainability of the org. 

This role is also responsible for monitoring and maintaining internal controls, while overseeing financial, legal and technical systems and related compliance requirements across the organisation. The successful candidate will be a  key adviser to the CEO, Board of Trustees, Officers, and Executive Director colleagues on all financial and related resources department matters. He/She will directly lead on the development and delivery of high quality financial services and strategy that enables the org to meet its objectives, they will hold budgetary oversight across all directorates.
