Overview of Role
As a Relationship Manager at Ergo, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of our IT Recruiting services. You will build and strengthen strategic partnerships with both existing and prospective clients, ensuring their recruitment needs are met with exceptional service. Your ability to understand complex technology landscapes and deliver tailored resourcing solutions will ensure Ergo’s continued leadership in Ireland’s IT sector.

What will you do?

  • Develop a deep understanding of client business needs and serve as a trusted advisor throughout the hiring process.
  • Drive account growth by retaining existing business and proactively identifying opportunities for expansion within assigned accounts.
  • Lead the full sales lifecycle—from prospecting new business, managing tenders, and closing deals, to ensuring outstanding post-placement account management.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in client organisations, regularly hosting business reviews and presenting at client meetings.
  • Partner closely with internal teams to devise and execute creative sourcing strategies.
  • Respond to and manage tender processes for both public and private sector clients, ensuring quality and compliance at every stage.
  • Achieve and exceed set sales and revenue targets, consistently raising the standard through industry best practices.
  • Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline management, delivering reliable projections to inform business strategy.
  • Provide market insights and research trends to continually enhance Ergo’s competitive edge.


What do you need?

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in IT recruitment or a similar business development/account management role within an IT environment.
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing tender responses for both public and private sector clients.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing client accounts.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills—verbal, written, and presentation.
  • Experience in creating compelling tender documents and responding to client proposals.
  • Background in formal sales training is an advantage.
  • Strong commercial acumen and a pro-active approach to building new business relationships.


Education & Certifications

  • Third-level qualification in a relevant discipline preferred.
  • Additional certifications in sales, recruitment, or IT resourcing are advantageous.
