We are enthusiastic about making a positive impact on the people that stay with us, some of them may have trouble with their emotions, communicating or dealing with situations that a lot of people find simple.
You will be responsible for helping look after the people in our care, we work with each person to provide them with a individual and specific goals, whether that be education, care plans or helping them with skills to ultimately achieve independence. A huge part of what you'll do is be a friend to them, someone that pays attention and genuinely cares, you'll get involved with activities like taking them out to the shops, maybe it's swimming lessons or just getting them out and about having fun.
Do you have a hobby you're particularly passionate about? We'd love for you to share it with our residents. It's all about creating the most natural and stimulating life possible for the people in our care, that's why there's no uniform, we want you to take the people in care out and do fun stuff - isn't that what we all want in life!?
You’ll be responsible for maintaining our ‘Good’ CQC rating and helping us achieve ‘Outstanding’ in all areas. You will have had experience working in Learning Difficulties/Autism homes and have good knowledge of CQC. You will be enthusiastic about care; it`s all about making people feel valued and providing the best level of support possible.
You`ll have plenty of care knowledge, where you`ll have had experience organising rotas, supervising staff, creating care plans, as well as doing risk assessments and audits. You`ll know how to be a positive influence when dealing with people, of course it goes without saying you`ll be a good team player, honest and invested in improving the lives of our residents at every opportunity.

What we need from you:
-NVQ Level 5 ideally but open for discussio if you're a trong deputy ith experience
- Drive to help improve the lives of people
- Desire to develop and learn new skills
- Strong communication skills
- The ability to be a great role model!
- Driver (preferable but not essential)
- Ability to adapt to different scenarios
