Working collaboratively to support the Residential Services Manager and the wider Village Operations team your responsibilities will include, but not limited to, implementing the planning process across all of the Athlete Village’s support services including logistics, asset and maintenance management, as well as supporting the overall life cycle of Village move-in through to move-out planning.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for the development, implementation and management of Work Order System and Inventory and Inspections System and management of Master Delivery Schedule to satisfy the customer service and planning requirements of the Village;
- Ensure integration and consistency across all Support Operations planning with the support of the senior Village Operations management team;
- In conjunction with Venue owners and Security FA lead the planning process across all Village support services including logistics, asset management and maintenance management;
- Collaboratively work with existing venue suppliers on venue existing maintenance and infrastructure suppliers;
- Plan and manage the Support Operations Centre operations in liaison with the Venue Owners facility management systems and personnel;
- Communicate with Functional Areas (FAs), Commonwealth Games Associations (CGA) representatives and Village suppliers regarding initiation and completion of work orders as per a RAG system.
Key Skills & Experience Required
- Experience in the facility management, logistics or villages industry and familiarity with international standards of client service;
- Experience in operational project management, including co-ordination of operational planning and event readiness;
- Degree in Project Management, Supply Chain Management, or related areas;
- Experience in recruiting, training and managing a small paid and volunteer workforce;
- Leadership experience in delivering international sport or other major events.
Start Date: January 2022
Salary: upto £30,000 per annum (fixed-term contract until August 2022)
Location: One Brindley Place, Birmingham, B1 2JB (full-time in office)
