This company is a well-known manufacturer in the local area that are looking to bring on enthusiastic, innovative and motivated people to join their growing business. They are a leading employer in the South Wales area and offer excellent internal training programmes and have an extremely low staff turnover.

 

Role & Responsibilities:

  • To work alongside the Mechanical and Electrical Project Engineers to deliver all projects on time, within specification and on budget, reporting to the Project Manager if deviations are likely to occur.
  • Project planning consisting of capturing and maintaining electrical documentation on each project through guidelines, standards, and templates.
  • Produce and maintain process and electrical drawings using AutoCAD, ensure drawings and folders are updated following project completion.
  • Developing and maintaining a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) that shows all electrical activities that must be performed to meet the requirements and deliverables of each project.

 

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • Experience with managing contractors, working closely with Maintenance and Process functions.
  • Need to be CAD literate as you’ll be producing and maintaining electrical drawings on site.
  • This role would suit someone who has come up a maintenance apprenticeship route and then gone in to a Project Engineer role
  • Proficient with ELCAD and EPLAN, Siemens S7/TIA Programming, Lenze Servo applications.
