Roles & Responsibilities
• Support the engineering team by carrying out systematic tasks and continuous improvements to plant and machinery to improve existing manufacturing processes
• Use initiative to identify areas that will improve the production performance, line utilisation and focus on reducing scrap levels
• Provide maintenance support regarding projects
• Perform housekeeping duties in the engineering environment during any slack time
• Carry out testing on fire alarm systems on a weekly basis
• Work on a large variety of equipment including – gear boxes, pumps, motors, bearings, drives, inverters, relays, sensors, conveyor systems and PLC’s
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
• Multi skilled engineer – Electrical bias
• Apprentice trained/HNC qualified
• Worked within manufacturing
• Strong problem solving/fault finding ability and experience
Salary & Benefits
• A starting salary of £37,000 - £39,000
• 3 shift – no weekend work
• Annual profit share, up to 10%
• up to 27 days holiday plus bank holidays
