A global manufacturing organisation is seeking to appoint a Document Controller as part of its continued growth. This is a newly created position, driven by the successful award of several new projects and ongoing business expansion. The company has a strong track record of investing in state-of-the-art machinery, project delivery, and employee training, ensuring both the business and its people continue to develop and succeed.

 

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive document control system for all manufacturing and project documentation.
  • Manage document workflows, including creation, revision, approval, distribution, and archiving.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, quality teams, HSEQ and operations to ensure timely and accurate documentation.
  • Maintain project records, including contracts, drawings, specifications, change orders, reports, and quality documentation.
  • Administer document control software (e.g., SharePoint or internal systems) and ensure data integrity and accessibility.
  • Prepare documentation for audits, regulatory inspections, and client reviews.

 

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in a similar role - Document Controller, Planning Engineer etc.
  • Understanding of compliance and standards
  • Project documentation experience - contracts, specifications, drawings, quality documentation etc.
  • IT literate - experience with Sharepoint or a similar platform
