A specialist manufacturing who work in the waste and recycling sector are looking to bring on 2 x Production Shift Managers. As a shift manager you will manage a specific processing stream, along with general site operations.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- You are expected to lead the shift with focus on people, safety, quality, and performance excellence.
- You will ensure that the Production schedule is met safely, at the right quality first time, on time, in full, at cost, and by the most efficient utilisation of the resources.
- Determining work requirements, priorities, and best use of resources to ensure that production targets are fulfilled in full every shift.
- Ensuring accurate and efficient receipt and dispatch of all materials relevant to specific processing streams
- Management of consumables (inc PPE, equipment, and packaging) for your particular stream
- Utilising production data to improve performance and efficiency and ensuring accurate data input and output.
- Upholding existing and developing/implementing new, SSOW / SOP’s / Risk Assessments and ensuring compliance with Health & Safety and Environmental Regulations
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
- Have proven experience within a similar shift management position within a manufacturing environment
- Preferably have experience of Recycling / Waste Management operations
- Not be afraid of getting your hands dirty
- Minimum 3 years supervisory/management experience essential
