Production Operative – Fish Factory (Full Time)

Location: Grimsby

Pay: £13.11 per hour

We are recruiting reliable Production Operatives to join a busy fish processing site in Grimsby. This is fast-paced, physically active work on a production line. Production/warehouse experience is required for this role.

Shifts & Hours (Full Time Only)

Monday to Friday 06:00 - 16:00

Every other Saturday (half day) 06:00 - 12:00

Please note: this role is full-time and does not offer part-time hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Working on a fast-paced production line
• Piecing fish
• pin bone
• Packing, weighing and labelling products
• Sealing packs and completing final quality checks (quality and presentation)
• General manual tasks to support production
• Keeping work areas clean and following hygiene standards
• Handling fish including removing heads and trimming

Working Environment

This role is based in a VERY cold and wet environment typical of fish production. You must be comfortable working in these conditions and able to stand for long periods and complete repetitive manual tasks.

• No formal qualifications required
• Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team
