Fish Factory Production Operative -IMMEDIATE START

We are recruiting reliable Production Operatives to join our busy fish processing team. This is physically active, fast-paced work on a production line and you will be require to handle and piece fish into portions.

09:00 - 14:00

You could be requested to do every other Saturday

Location

• Grimsby

Key Duties

• Working on fast-paced production line
• Packing, weighing and labelling finished products
• Sealing and final product checking for quality and presentation
• General manual labour tasks to support production
• Maintaining cleanliness and adhering to hygiene standards
• Handling the fish - Removing heads
• Trimming the fish
• cutting fish into pieces / chunks

What we provide

Environment & Physical Requirements

• This role operates in a very cold and wet environment typical of fish production. You must dress suitably for these conditions (warm, layers are recommended). PPE / overcoat and boots will be provided.
• The role involves standing for long periods, manual handling and repetitive tasks. A reasonable level of physical fitness is required.

Requirements

• No formal qualifications required
• Production experience
• Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Reliable, punctual and able to work in a team
