I am recruiting an experienced Slinger Banksamn for a market leading structural steel manufacturing client based in the Lincolnshire area who due to continued growth and success are introducing a permanent weekend shift to their site.

This is a genuine full-time permanent position working 3 full shifts from Friday – Sunday inclusive on a day shift.

As the Slinger Banksman you will be responsible for

• Ensure all incoming material is off loaded, sorted and stored according to Production schedules
• Ensure correct lifting and slinging methods are always adhered to
• Ensure all materials are moved through the site adhering to all health and safety policies
• Ensure all goods outward are loaded in a safe and efficient manner
• Carry out trailer inspections reporting any anomalies

To be considered for the Slinger Banksman role you will,

• Previously worked in a structural steel environment
• Experience using overhead cranes or Slinger Banksman certificates
• Have a valid Side loader FLT license
• Have a valid Counter Balance FLT license
• Shunter license desirable but not essential
• A good understanding of Health and Safety
• First Aid Certificates and Fire Warden certificates desirable but not essential

• Competitive pay rate £11.56ph (£22,241k per annum) Plus overtime is available
• Hours of work – Friday / Saturday 6.00am-7.00pm Sunday 6.00am – 6.30pm
• The Materials Handler role is a genuine permanent position
