Castle Industrial and Construction are recruiting for experienced Sub Arc Welders for our client based in the West Yorkshire area who due to continued and extensive growth are increasing the team with the addition of a weekend shift. This is a multiskilled role that would suit welder fabricators with a fabrication shop background and a great opportunity to complete full time hours over a 3 day shift pattern.
As a Sub Arc Welder you will be required too
- Build and weld beams and plated section using sub arc welding
- Grind, De-bur, cut and remove scrap and clean down all parts
- Carry out quality checks on completed work using visual and dimensional techniques
- Set up and operate the CNC cutting table
- Use overhead cranes
- Accurately complete all associated paperwork including quality reports
The successful candidate for the Sub Arc Welder will
- Have an experienced Fabrication shop background
- MIG, MAG or SAW experience
- CNC , Plasma or Gas Cutting experience
- FLT Sideloader desirable
- Overhead Crane or Banksman experience
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Have a strong understanding of Fabrication Shop Health & Safety
- Proactive and flexible approach to work
The benefits of the Sub Arc Welder role are
Pay £13.02ph
Hours: Friday & Saturday 6.00am - 7.00pm Sunday 6.00am – 6.30pm
