I am recruiting an experienced Foreman for a market leading structural steel manufacturing client based in the Grantham area who due to continued growth are expanding the team

This is a genuine full-time permanent position offering an immediate start

As the Foreman you will be responsible for;

• Overseeing all works of the shop floor personnel (predominantly Industrial Paint Sprayers, Shot Blasters and Material Handlers)
• Ensuring all work is carried out in a safe manor and in line with company health and safety policies
• Oversee new starters
• Ensure production targets and deadlines are met
• Be ‘hands on’ as required to ensure productivity is met
• Record accurately all associated documentation

To be considered for the Foreman role you will;

• Have a background ideally in structural steel fabrication shop
• Be experienced and have a working knowledge of either Shot Blasting / Industrial Paint Spraying
• Ideally have previously worked within a structural steel environment
• An excellent awareness and experience of Health and Safety
• Be happy to be ‘hands on’ as required
• Strong Team worker
• Logical and fastidious approach to work
• First Aid Certificates and Fire Warden certificates desirable but not essential

The benefits of the Forman role are;

• Competitive pay rate £15.41 ph (£33655 basic per annum) Plus overtime is available
• Hours of work – Monday – Thursday 6.00am-5.00pm
• The foreman role is a genuine permanent position
