Castle Education are currently in an exclusive partnership with the Scarborough Tec and are currently working on a new permanent role as a Joinery Technician in the Construction Department. This is an exciting time to be working within the Tec partnership at Scarborough Tec as the college is part of a group of providers in North Yorkshire, East Riding and North Lincolnshire.
As the Joinery Technician you will be required to;
- Provide advise and assistance to staff and students on practical and assignment work
- Prepare the joinery workshops for practical assignments
- Ensuring all materials for class are available
- To look after stock in the department logging all deliveries
- To maintain and repair all tools and equipment
- Carrying out safety checks and keeping all associated documents up to date
To be considered for the Joinery Technician role you will;
- Be qualified to Level 2 or higher within a joinery / carpentry discipline
- Minimum of 2 years industry experience
- Ideally you will have similar experience of working with students
- An enhance DBS check is required for this role
