I am recruiting for a number of Trainee Electrical Assemblers for our client based in the York area who due to genuine continued growth in 2020 are looking to expand their team. This is an amazing entry level opportunity for a candidate with a firm interest in the engineering / electrical sector and a career within it as full in-house training will be provided alongside an external training programme
The Role of the Trainee Electrical Assembler;
- Assemble electrical components in line with detailed company specifications
- Working from drawings and SOP’s
To be considered for the Trainee Electrical Assembler role you will ;
- Ideally have some experience working within an engineering / electrical environment
- Ideally have previous experience of assembling parts, soldering or ‘turning’
- Have a very high degree of manual dexterity
- Have excellent hand to eye coordination
- Have strong attention to detail
- Due to location and shift patterns own transport is required

- This is a permanent opportunity
- Entry level salary £18,887 plus generous shift premium
- 5 hours a week following a rotating shift pattern
Shift A Monday - Friday 6.00am - 2.00pm
Shift B Monday – Thursday 2.00pm – 22.45pm Friday 4.00pm – 18.30pm
- Onsite parking is available
- Offers will be made after a successful competency-based interview and a manual dexterity test onsite
