A fantastic opportunity has become available for a Fabrication Foreman for our client based in the West Yorkshire area. The role offers an immediate start, a competitive salary and offers a four-day working week.
Excellent commute from York, Leeds and surrounding areas
The Fabrication shop foreman will be responsible for;
- Overseeing all Fabrication personnel
- Manage the completion of fabrication projects, working daily with other members of the team through project progresses to ensure on time delivery to the client
- Deputising for Works Manager as and when required
- Ensure all shop floor company procedures are being adhered to
- Ensure all required materials for production are available
- To provide equipment and training for new starters
- Responsible for and implementing company H&S procedures
To be considered for the Fabrication Foreman role;
- Have a welding / fabrication background, time served and have welded to coded standard
- Ideally within a structural steel environment
- An excellent awareness and experience of implementing Health and Safety
- Logical and fastidious approach to work
- Hands on approach to work
- Positive proactive attitude and flexibility
- Good understanding of PPM systems and report generation
- Good IT skills
- Must have flexibility to work overtime when required
