CNC Operator (RL8954) Scarborough, England

Castle Industrial and Construction are looking for an experienced CNC Operator for our client based on the outskirts of Scarborough who due to continued investment are growing the team. This is a temporary to permanent position with the role offering progression for the right candidate.
The CNC Operator will be required to;
- Do all prestart set up at beginning of shift
- Work from drawings
- Follow a production schedule and meet output targets
- Ensure product is at correct tolerances using hand tools and measuring devices
- Complete production quality reports and shift reports daily
- Complete daily maintenance tasks
- Work to company SOP’s
- Ensure all company H&S is adhered to at all times
The successful CNC Operator will
- Time served or a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar environment
- Ideally have Mecal or similar CNC Extrusion Milling experience, not essential as training can be provided
- Good IT skills
- Valid FLT (Counterbalance) is desirable
- Have the ability to work unsupervised
The benefits of the CNC Operator are
- Pay rates upwards of £10 ph plus shift premium, pay rate will be based on experience
- Rotating shift pattern 6.00am – 2.00pm / 2.00pm – 10.00pm
