An established and successful construction business is recruiting for an experienced Structural Steel Fabricator & Welder to join their team in Malton, North Yorkshire to work in a growing and expanding company in a modern workshop.  Standard Working Hours: Monday to Friday 7.00 am- 3.30 p with regular weekly overtime and Saturday mornings available.  Competitive Salary offered with overtime rate which will be discussed and offered dependent on the candidate's skills and experience.

As the Structural Steel Fabricator & Welder you will be responsible for;

• Working from technical detailed shop fabrication drawings to tolerances.
• Plating and tacking up assemblies ensuring they are assembled to correct tolerances
• Competent in the handling and moving heavy structural beams using a gantry crane
• Ability to work independently and be responsible for checking their own work
• Be Hardworking, Reliable, and Punctual.
• Weld products in order to assist with production requirements
• Assessing engineering drawings for products to be welded
• Ensure a clean as you go policy at all times

To be considered for the Structural Steel Fabricator role you will;

• Have 2 years of previous structural steel experience in Fabrication
• Previously MIG welded to a coded standard
• Read and understand detailed CAD drawings
