We are currently seeking an experienced Planner/Scheduler for our Site Services division. This is a full-time position and will be based at our modern Head Office in Welshpool.

As a Planner/Scheduler reporting to the Site Services Management, you will be responsible for the planning and scheduling of labour and resources for minor projects, shutdowns and maintenance works across multiple mine sites throughout Western Australia.

General responsibilities will include the below:

  • Allocation of high-volume blue-collar workforce to scheduled project and/or shutdown works
  • Coordination, direction and allocation of tooling, equipment and machinery including vehicles to site
  • Ongoing relationship management of clients, stakeholders and workforce
  • Leading and guiding of the Site Services Administration team to ensure mobilisation and site compliance needs are being met

The successful applicant will possess the following:

  • A passion for planning and resourcing dynamic projects
  • The ability to handle multiple tasks for multiple projects at one time whilst working under pressure
  • The ability to remain calm whilst under pressure
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to communicate effectively and professionally on all levels, both verbally and in writing
  • Relevant experience in and understanding of mine site operations
  • Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills including Excel and Outlook
  • A true ‘can do’ attitude and people focus
  • Current drivers licence and reliable transport
  • A strong commitment to health and safety  

Applicants holding the below will be held in high regard:

  • Knowledge of crushing and mineral processing equipment
  • Experience in MS Project

The successful applicant must be able to pass ongoing drug and alcohol screening and an extensive pre-employment medical.
