 DMU Manager (Remote Contract)
Location: England
Salary: GBP40 - GBP60 per hour A client of mine currently have an urgent requirement for a DMU Manager on a 6 month contract. The contract will be remote working from home, our client will post hardware to your home address for you to complete the work on.
Your Day to Day:
- Design and optimize aerospace parts and assemblies throughout their lifecycle
- Create complex 3D parts and assemblies in CAD (Siemens NX)
- Manage high-level assemblies according to the Lilium design processes
- Derive fully dimensioned 2D technical drawings appropriate for production and certification
- Constantly learn new things – and share them with your team members
- Work on any ad hoc related projects or tasks
Your Profile:
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in the aerospace industry is required
- Strong knowledge of Siemens NX
- Strong knowledge of PDM/PLM systems (Teamcenter or equivalent)
- Experience in a similar role (DMU integration/managing) in an aerospace environment is beneficial
- Advanced knowledge of ISO GPS (alternatively ASME GD&T) and overall good drafting skills are beneficial
- Excellent understanding of general design principles and technical correlations is required
- Strong motivation to help build structures and processes is required
This 6 month contract is paying a between £40-60 per hour, dependant on experience.
