I am recruiting for a brand new Test Team for a client of mine who are based in Central Bristol but are happy to consider people on a fully remote basis as long as you don’t mind popping into the Bristol office a day a month once the office reopens.
They are an awesome company with the best environment, amazing glass door reviews and have been helping many businesses get up on their feet since COVID-19 hit. They did their 4 year forecasted revenue in the first 6 months of last year and are in an amazing spot going from strength to strength.
Their product is built on AWS and they are in the process of creating a brand new Test function and are looking for 4 Automation testers (or Dev in tests) to join with automation experience. You’ll be looking to improve test automation coverage across their product teams and Automation tests will be part of their definition of done. The new team will be championing test automation across the company as well as coaching the developers.
They work in an Agile environment and Automation scripts will be integrated into their CI/CD pipeline and the first couple of hires will be the trailblazers for the team, getting to identify and choose the best tools and tech for the job moving forwards. The team will be involved in building new frameworks from scratch (more than likely with Java-based tools) and looking at ways of improving an existing framework written in Selenium with Ruby.
There is also scope for someone to join as more of a lead figure for the team.
The ideal people will be strong automation testers, (or developers keen to move into testing) ideally with experience in languages like Java or Ruby, and be excited about the opportunity on offer.
Salaries are anywhere up to £55,000 with flexible hours, good benefits and a great culture.
