We are seeking Reliability Engineer for our Client's Altona North site.

Our client is part of a world leading plastics manufacturing business, with a growing presence across the globe. Due to a recent promotion, they are looking for a Reliability Engineer / Maintenance Coordinator to join the team. This is an ongoing casual position, working Monday to Friday, Assisting the Maintenance & Reliability Manager.  There is a true Temp to Perm Opportunity for the right candidate. There is overtime available too.

Duties Include (but are not limited to) 

• Manage spare parts inventory and storeroom activities
• Monitor stock levels and replenishment activities
• Conduct stock counts and inventory accuracy checks
• Raise purchase orders and source parts and services
• Coordinate maintenance resources, contractors and trades personnel
• Support shutdowns and daily maintenance planning
• Analyse equipment failures and support RCA investigations 
• Review OEM manuals and identify spare parts
• Liaise with contractors, suppliers and service providers
• Maintain accurate records in MEX CMMS and prepare reports

The Successful Candidate will have

• Maintenance planning, coordination, reliability or engineering support experience
• Inventory management and procurement experience
• Strong understanding of maintenance and reliability principles
• Ability to read technical manuals and spare parts catalogues
• Strong Excel and Outlook skills
• Experience using CMMS systems, preferably MEX
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
