Our homewares client is searching for an energetic and customer service-oriented retail sales associate to join their team.

With us, you’ll share with customers your passion for and knowledge of shopping for their ideal fit out to find the perfect space within their home.

This is a great opportunity for friendly outgoing people to build their interpersonal skills while spreading their love of sales and product knowledge to our diverse customer base.

Job Responsibilities

• Greet guests as they enter your designated floor area, ask whether they would like assistance with anything and provide help if needed in a friendly, hospitable and efficient manner

• Remain knowledgeable about and answer questions related to merchandise, sales, promotions and store policy

• Provide recommendations based on customer’s stated preferences, needs and desires

• Create a friendly, welcoming atmosphere for our guests in accordance with the vision of the store by acting in a approachable manner during customer interactions

• Liaise with our wonderful warehouse staff

• Straighten, arrange, stock and dust off merchandise, maintain areas as directed

• Create quotations customers, placing special orders to find desired items if necessary



Job Skills & Qualifications



• Friendly, outgoing demeanour with a strong commitment to customer service

• Ability to express oneself clearly and persuasively when making sales

• Calm and professional even when confronted by discourteous customers

• Computer literate and willing to learn new software

• Highly motivated with great communication skills



Preferred:

Showroom sales experience
